Nicoletta puts her interest in individuals and her capacity to understand their problems into her legal practice. Her willingness to listen and meet people, her attention to detail, her sharing the objectives to be pursued with her clients and her grasp of the necessary strategies go hand in hand with her expertise and genuinely multidisciplinary professional experience which Nicoletta sensibly makes the most of in the interest of her clients, both analysing the legal issues that are submitted to her advisory services and in her firm and determined defence thereof before the competent Courts, including the Supreme Court.
Having always had, since her university years, an interest in the Anglo-Saxon world so much so that she spent a study period in England, thanks to a scholarship granted by the National Research Centre (C.N.R.) to complete her graduation thesis, Nicoletta’s excellent command of both English and French enable her to frequently advise clients from the international community in Florence and Tuscany. In her spare time, Nicoletta is a keen reader and contemporary art lover.
During her university and post-graduate years, Nicoletta focused on the criminal process. After spending a period in England under a scholarship programme of the National Research Centre (C.N.R.), she graduated with a research thesis on Criminal Law and Procedure that compared the Italian and English legal systems, for which she received the 1991 annual award from the National Lawyers’ Council. She then obtained a PhD in Criminal Issues and for several years held a teaching post in Criminal Law and Procedure at the University of Florence; in her practice and professional experience, she focused, right from those early years, on administrative law, with particular attention to the penalties, including criminal ones, connected therewith, in addition to civil law. After joining an important Law Firm in Florence as a partner, Nicoletta focused exclusively on legal practice, developing over time an increasingly multidisciplinary approach. The integration between her different training and professional experiences enables her to both advise her clients on a wide variety of problems and to have full knowledge of the various issues that these can involve. In the administrative field, which is the field of choice of Studio Legale RFA, Nicoletta has also acquired specific expertise in dealing with problems related to “land management” (building and town planning, the environment and waste disposal, expropriations), advising primary agencies and public administrations, as well as in public contracts and the liability of the Public Administration and its officers. Nicoletta also provides her services in the field of civil law, especially in relation to contracts in general and property law, in which she can assist her clients both during the negotiation and execution of purchases or sales, and in relation to preliminary due diligence processes to check the building-town planning and tax regularity of complex transactions. Lastly, her original criminal training and university qualifications are particularly useful in her advisory and Court services related to the so-called “administrative criminal law” and to the liability of physicians and other healthcare operators. She also advises entities and companies on their administrative liability within the meaning of Legislative Decree n. 231/01 and on the implementation of the corresponding organisational models.
She is the author of several scientific publications on the criminal and administrative process, on administrative liability and the environment.
